World Elder Abuse Awareness Day
World Elder Abuse Awareness Day is recognized on June 15th as a day to promote preventing the abuse and neglect of elders. One of the most prevalent types of elder abuse is financial exploitation. Our Money Smart for Older Adults curriculum raises awareness among older adults and their caregivers on how to prevent elder financial exploitation and encourages informed financial decision-making. It was created in collaboration with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
Money Smart for Older Adults Webpage Redesign
The Money Smart for Older Adults webpage has been redesigned. You can now search for materials by topic (e.g. Romance Scams). You can also download the individual materials by topic instead of downloading the entire curriculum. Visit the site and check out the changes here.
Next Money Smart for Small Business Train the Trainer Webinar
The 多宝游戏下载 will host a Train the Trainer webinar on June 22, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM Eastern Time, directed to organizations, financial institutions, and individuals interested in teaching our free financial education program Money Smart for Small Business. Prospective instructors will learn how to use this curriculum effectively to help small business owners in their community improve their financial skills and create positive banking relationships.
